Six factors make up the 100 points — parseability and standard sections at 20 each, then contact info, dates, length and density, and formatting hygiene at 15 each. Do I need a job description for this?
No — the ATS check is job-agnostic. It measures whether your resume parses cleanly and survives an applicant tracking system at all, independent of any specific role. Use a match analysis when you have a particular job in mind.
What makes up the score?
Six weighted factors out of 100: parseability (20), standard sections (20), contact info (15), dates (15), length and density (15), and formatting hygiene (15). Grades are A ≥ 90, B ≥ 75, C ≥ 60, and D below 60.
